Some shots of the garden

It’s been a while since I’ve shown some pictures of the garden.  So today, I’m going to do that.

Here’s a  shot of one of the broccoli beds.  Obviously they have started to go to seed.  I pulled these this weekend and planted this bed with green beans.

My lettuce bolted over the past couple of days.  These were both supposed to be heading lettuce, but they didn’t really form heads.  I’ll pull these in the next couple of days.

I think I’ve mentioned in the past that cilantro grows like a weed.  I haven’t planted cilantro in 2 years.  This is actually a bed of peas, but the cilantro has pretty much taken over.  I let it flower and go to seed because the beneficial insects seem to really like it.

I’m very happy with the purple cabbage.  It doesn’t have that strong cabbage taste that is so overpowering.  It is sweet and tasty.  I will grow this again in the Fall.

This is just a shot to show how the potato onions do their thing.

Here’s 2 of the tomato beds.  They are doing pretty well.  The 2 beds in the background are the new garden beds and are planted with green beans.  I also have the soaker hoses running to these beds.

Here’s my bed of zucchini.  There are now a couple of small zucchini squash on these plants.  I also have a marigold in this bed, but the zucchini have pretty much crowded it out.

That’s a quick tour of the garden.  How’s your garden doing?
