I'm just an average guy.  But I have gotten fed up with living pay check to pay check and having a long commute.  We moved to the country in Maryland and have started building our homestead.  Right now it just consists of a large garden, but eventually we will get chickens and plant an orchard.  Long in the future, we may put in a pond with some fish, that could be a sign that we get ducks.  But I don't see us getting large animals like cows or goats.
